Since 2009, we have partnered with the Aspen Institute, a nonpartisan educational and policy studies organization that fosters leadership based on enduring values and provides a nonpartisan venue for dealing with critical issues. As a public program of the Institute, Aspen Words underscores the highest humanistic ideals of Institute founder Walter Paepcke: to better understand human challenges by cultivating one’s inner life through the exchange of words, stories, and ideas.
“The Aspen Institute brings together people with different outlooks to search for common ground and make the world a better place. Aspen Words embodies this mission by cultivating the exchange of stories and ideas, and by giving voice to diverse perspectives.” —Walter Isaacson, President & CEO, The Aspen Institute
