This profoundly moving memoir was written by Lucy’s late husband\, Paul Kalanithi\, a young neurosurgeon faced with a terminal cancer diagnosis who attempts to answer the question What makes a human life meaningful? Following his death in March 2015\, Lucy shepherded Paul’s book to publication and wrote its stunning epilogue. \nThough this memoir was written by a dying man\, it is not a book about death\, but about life. The Aspen Words Summer Benefit will be an evening of conversation celebrating literature’s role in helping us to more fully understand the joys and challenges of human life. We hope you will join us!
