Perfect Your Pitch a.k.a. Find the Heart of Your Story
Third Thursday – April 17, at Bonfire Coffee (433 Main St., Carbondale), 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Not sure why you need to pitch a story if it’s not even finished yet? Identifying and being able to clearly articulate the heart of your story is key to writing and finishing your book, as well as selling it (to a publisher or the public). This workshop will help you tighten up your narrative arc to make your story more readable and more publishable. Members will have the chance to workshop their projects.
This workshop will also help you feel confident about entering a conversation with an agent or editor at the Summer Words writers conference.
