Penny Kelen Meepos is a writer and an avid reader. She has attended many selective writing workshops through Summer Words and she participates weekly in a writing group led by a UCLA instructor. Previously, she practiced law at a prominent Los Angeles law firm and also had her own law firm. Penny divides her time between Aspen and Los Angeles. She is involved in numerous charitable organizations including The Everychild Foundation, MOCA Projects Council, the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, Blue Ribbon, and the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. Penny has a BA from UCLA in economics and a JD from Loyola Law School. She is an enthusiastic skier and an avid tennis player. She enjoys spending time with her three granddaughters.
